Judy & Jon believe tango lives in the embrace, the connection, and the music. They teach Traditional Tango as it is danced socially in the milongas of Buenos Aires. They get their students out on the dance floor by helping them master good leading and following technique through figures and exercises to develop the skill and creativity to interpret the music while moving fluidly around the dance floor.

They are the most well known North American tango dancers in Buenos Aires and are revered for the elegance, intensity and sentimiento of their dance, beautiful footwork, and excellent social and exhibition dance style.

They are great communicators--witty, energetic, and fun. They are acclaimed for their clear teaching techniques and their individual attention to students. The technique they teach will improve your dance regardless of what form or style of Tango you choose to dance.


Judy & Jon have taught and performed at major tango events around the U.S. and Buenos Aires and are the foreigners most often asked to perform in Buenos Aires. Their close embrace salon exhibitions are admired in Buenos Aires as outstanding demonstrations of tango danced elegantly and 'bien en la pista' with sentimiento.
