The Obelisco, centerpiece of Buenos Aires borders the Microcenter which is home to
a pedestrian walking street with wall-to-wall shops. Visit Galerias Pacifico mall, with a magnificent dome, stunning frescoes and beautiful shops. A nearby park is bordered
by a number of well-regarded shoe and clothing stores, jewelers, and leather shops.
We'll visit the best Bomboneria (sweet shop) in the city. Renowned for its French
style cookies, pastries, chocolates, salads and tea sandwiches).

Avenida Alvear is an elegant, Parisian-like strip of European boutiques and cafes. French-style mansions share company
with upscale shops. Tour includes stopping at Patio Bullrich one of the city's upscale malls with 69 elegant shops.
We'll also visit the elegant Hotel Alvear renowned for its afternoon tea.
Can also include the Centro Cultural Recoleta located in one of Buenos Aires' oldest architectural structures which was converted into a cultural center in 1980.

Popular with local shoppers, Avenida Santa Fe offers a wide selection of stores featuring clothing, books, culinary fare,
etc. at down-to-earth prices. Includes a visit to the excellent Alto Palermo Shopping Center with 155 stores.

Named for its resemblance to New York's Soho district. Browse the narrow cobblestone streets filled with galleries,
boutiques and restaurants. We'll go to the best candle shop in the city. Includes a visit to the Botanical Gardens

The San Telmo area is known for its preserved colonial buildings, tango halls, cafes, and a flea market held every
Sunday in Plaza Dorrego. You can find excellent antiques as well as arts and crafts celebrating tango. Street
performers and artists are omnipresent on the weekends. Includes the Fernandez Blanco Museum, a superb
colonial building which houses spectacular pieces of 18th and 19th Century silverware and other implements of
the colonial era.
